I’m Sydney! I’m the founder of Bridal Styles by Sydney, where we celebrate your authentic beauty with our bridal team. I am so ecstatic you found us while choosing your wedding day vendors. You can expect a completely custom bridal hairstyle & makeup application for your needs & wants. On location of your choosing or you can come into the spa where I have an area dedicated for brides to relax & get pampered by expert hands with premium beauty products. ALL hair types, textures, curl patterns, skin tones, ages, traditions & styles are more than welcomed, (with years of experience to boot). We welcome ALL couples. This is all about you & it’d be an absolute honor to bring your vision to life.
Meet Sydney
It’s so nice to virtually meet you & I can’t wait for either myself or a talented team member to work with you. I currently call Dahlonega, GA home and am a mom to two little boys. I love working with my couples. Their happiness and joy makes this the best job I could ever dream of. I got my master cosmetology license in 2014 and soon after began working full time behind the chair. Once I moved to Dahlonega, I began working in a cute little spa downtown. This is where I found my love for all things bridal. I quickly became very passionate about bringing my brides’ hair and makeup visions come to life. After 6 years working here, I decided it was time to take a leap of faith and begin Styles by Sydney.
Before the wedding.
I recommend you book a consultation or trial with me no more than 3 months before your wedding day as your style may change. At that time please bring any hair accessories or extensions you plan on wearing for the wedding.
The day before.
Take deep breaths, get excited! Shampoo and blow dry your hair with minimal products. No flat ironing as this can affect how curls/styles will hold.
The day of.
Today is the day! Anyone getting updos or hair styles, come in with dry, clean hair. It is not true dirty hair holds better. We can always add products to give fine or thin hair texture. If you are booked for makeup come with a clean face. If you do apply moisturizer be sure it doesn’t contain an SPF.
Tip: wear a button down or zip up shirt that doesn’t go over your head.
